WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR CHINA VISA IN UNITED ARAB EMIRATES?

The United Arab Emirates has two Chinese diplomatic representations as below to provide China travel visa.

• Chinese embassy in Abu Dhabi.
• Chinese consulate in Dubai.

The mainland China embassy in Abu Dhabi serves the Jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. While the China consulate in Dubai serves Dubai and the norther emirates of Sharjah, Ajamn, ‎Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The service is provided to all foreign national as well as Emirati national.

There is a wide range of visa type offered by China. Here are the documents you should submit based on your main purpose of travel.

Chinese Tourist Visa Requirements:

1. Original passport with minimum validity of 6 months. The passport must have at least two blank pages. Additionally, copy of the passport information page.
2. One signed tourist Chinese visa application form. The application form must be filled online, printed and signed on the official website, please click the following link: China Visa Application Form.

4. Original UAE residence permit or UAE Emirates ID card. It must be valid for minimum 6 months.
5. If you have been to China before please provide Previous China visa copy.
6. Original NOC letter from your employer.
7. Return flight reservation.
8. Hotel booking covering the full duration of your stay.
9. Other supporting documents might be required.
10. Minors will need to submit birth certificate.
11. Visa fee is paid at the time of passport collection.

China Business Visa Requirements:

1. Original passport. The passport must be valid for 6 months with blank pages. You must submit the passport that includes the UAE visa.
2. Signed Chinese visa application form. The application form should be filled online on the official website: China Visa Application Form.

4. Original UAE residence permit or UAE Emirates ID card. It must be valid for minimum 6 months.
5. Business letter from your employer. The employer must provide trade license copy.
6. Previous China visa copy. If you are applying with a new passport please include copy of information page of the passport that contains the visa.
7. Invitation letter issued by the inviting company in China.
8. You might need to submit additional supporting documents.
9. You will pay the Chinese visa fee when you collect your passport.
